Purposes
   

The Early Childhood Education class consists of a combination of classroom instruction and practical lab experience. Students apply the principles, concepts and skills that are addressed in the related class to their practical lab experience.

Course of Study    

Students are provided with a broad range of experience related to the care and guidance of young children. Various community child care and early childhood education programs are used as practical lab sites.

After successfully completing the Early Childhood Education program your junior year, further exposure for child care experiences at different lab locations may be explored with special permission from the coordinator.

Enrollment Procedure    
  1. Fill out an Information Request form.
  2. Contact your guidance counselor to express an interest.
